Game simulasi kehidupan terbaru, The Sims 3, meraih rekor penjualan 1,4 juta kopi dalam minggu pertama penjualan. Perusahaan pembuatnya, Electronic Arts, mengatakan hal ini merupakan pencapaian terbaik dalam sejarah perusahaan. Game yang dirilis 2 Juni silam ini memiliki sejumlah fitur baru seperti perangkat pembuatan film dan kostumisasi virtual yang lebih menarik dari versi sebelumnya. Tahun lalu, Electronic Arts mengumumkan versi pertama The Sims terjual lebih dari 100 juta kopi sejak dirilis pada 2000.
